Sipas kësaj informate, Limaj akuzohet të ketë vrarë dy të arrestuarit serb me nga një plumb në kokë të cilet i takonin policisë serbe, informon një prokuror nga Gjykata Evropiane. Limaj akuzohet për krime lufte sikur edhe 11 pjesëtarë tjerë të Ushtrisë Qlirimtare të Kosovës./comeze.net

PRISTINA, Kosovo – A European Union judge says a senior Kosovo politician and former rebel leader is to be tried for the alleged execution and torture of Serb prisoners during the 1998-99 Kosovo war.

The decision, made public Friday by the EU rule of law mission, confirms the allegations made in an indictment filed by an EU prosecutor that Fatmir Limaj a top former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army ordered the execution of two captured Serb policemen “with gunshots to the head” and tortured another Serb captive. Limaj is one of 11 former rebels to be tried for war crimes against civilians and prisoners of war.

The crimes allegedly took place in central Kosovo between early 1999 and June 1999, when Kosovo came under U.N. and NATO control.
