I am ashamed of the US Senate and Congress. The American people elect you as our representatives, but it appears to the world these representatives are only working for their "party" and own interests. Let me say this if I, as an employee, refused to do my job or did not have good attendance; I would be fired. Do you get where I am going? Yes, every one of you should be ashamed for not doing what the American people are paying you to do. To work. This is the "United States of America". Work together as a united being, our world is full of compromises and that is what is required of you. Do your jobs; pass laws, pass budgets, review and approve or disapprove appointees based on their merits not beliefs, protect the all American people. You all took this oath "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God." If you cannot perform those duties then you need to resign.
